The role of education

The process of education itself should build up citizenship. So schools at all levels play a role in making democracy work. 

Democracy education is one of the tools to strengthen the role of the media and in turn to uphold democracy as a way of life.

As an introductory session to the role of the news media in democratic society, we are leaving out much that needs to be discussed. We hope that there will be opportunities to develop more modules and more interaction with those using these modules so we can deepen the experience of learning democracy and understanding the role of the media in a democratic society.
